No More Heel Pricking!

Andrew's jaundice is looking great, which means that we don't have to get his blood taken anymore! He was such a good little baby and acted like an angel everytime we had to go to the hospital for bloodwork, but I was not so good! It is such a sad thing to see your little baby get stuck over and over again. I am so glad that is over!

First Week

Our first week at home has been wonderful. Andrew continues to be a very sweet baby and actually slept for 3 hours in a row last night...two different times! He sleeps a lot during the day:) He still has a bit of jaundice but not enough to treat. We will go back to get him tested again next Tuesday. Please pray for him! Thanks again for all the love and support!

We Are Home!

We are sooooo happy to be home! Andrew has a little jaundice, so we go back to the doctor in the morning to check it out. We hope and pray that his number goes down so we don't have to worry anymore.

Andrew has been an ANGEL since we got home. We know he's really happy to be here, too! Here are a couple of his latest pictures:)

Very proud Daddy!

Let's go home!

Andrew is here!!!

Andrew Scott was born on May 18th at 7:33 PM, weighing in at 8 lbs. and 4 oz. and 23 inches long! We are so proud of our big boy! I started pushing at around 5:45 PM, and it took a couple hours for him to make his grand entrance. He was definitely worth the wait! He is the sweetest baby ever! Thank you all for your texts, emails, and phone calls. We are all doing well and really appreciate all your prayers!!!

Some of these pics are from right after he was born and some are from the day after. He changes all the time, so we'll be sure to post pics often!

Our happy family!

In the Hospital...

So, we've made it to the hospital, filled out all the paperwork, gotten hooked up to everything...now we wait. My doctor doesn't seem to think I need to cervidil, so they're going to start the pitocin in the morning. They think Andrew will be here by tomorrow afternoon!

It's pretty cool that we can remain in contact with the outside world through wireless internet (and cell phones, of course). Thank goodness for that, too, because we have a few hours to waste until the real fun begins!!!

Thanks to everyone for the prayers! We will post updates and pics as soon as possible!

The Latest

My doctor is letting me go to the hospital on Sunday night! This is a day earlier than we thought, so we are so happy! The hospital is going to call me that day and let me know when we can arrive. They'll start the Cervidil that night, which my doctor seems to think will put me in labor. If it doesn't, she will give me Pitocin and break my water. Either way, Andrew should be here by Monday, the 18th! We can't believe it's so close! My parents are coming on Saturday, and my little sister and her family will be here later on. I can't wait for Andrew to meet everyone!

All done...just need a baby!

We've put the finishing touches on the nursery, so here is the final product. Getting Andrew's room ready has been so much fun! It will be even cuter with him in it!

We're Almost There!

I had my doctor's appointment this morning and got some really great news...If Andrew has not made an appearance before May 18th, my doctor is going to induce me! So, either way, we will have a baby by May 19th! It's really nice to know that there is light at the end of this pregnancy tunnel:) Scott and I have pretty much completed all of our last minute to do items. All we need to do now is pack a bag!
